What's Great in Washington D.C & the DMV
My family and I landed in the DMV from Nepal on a cold December morning in 2003 and have since found and cultivated a village of family and friends here. A few years back when I started Blooh I started discovering values aligned places and people that are doing the work of bringing tasteful sustainable style and food to the DMV and helping us live a little bit more consciously.
This guide is an attempt to find the pulse of the values driven culture within the DMV area with everything from vegan, vintage, black and AAPI owned and everything in between. If you have a weekend to spare of just a couple hours here are fun and unique activities to do and explore in the DMV and DC area.
